Charissa Thompson
Thompson who resigned from FOX Sports for Yahoo Sports in 2010, also hosted Versus Sports. She hosted Versus' NHL coverage in the studio as well as produced video content for Yahoo's traffic-driven platform. Thompson led the website's presence during high-profile sporting events, such as events like the 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. Its success in these two arenas led her to being hired by ESPN as one of its hosts on the brand new afternoon program called "Numbers Never lie," beginning in August of 2011. After a transition from "SportsNation," she enjoyed an extended run of great success. Thompson left ESPN to launch FS1 the following month in Los Angeles, May 2013 and returned in Los Angeles. Being a huge sports enthusiast, Thompson has also shown that she has the ability to seamlessly cross into the entertainment world of television. After a series of temporary opportunities and promotions, she was appointed co-host on a regular basis for the evening edition of Hollywood newspaper "Extra," in June 2014. In her role as co-host the magazine, she also filmed at Universal Studios as well as staffed award shows and celebrity gatherings regularly.
