Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th 1997) is an American actress and singer. Wuhrer began her career as an teen and is most well recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders and as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a automobile salesman. She has three brothers and sisters. When she was a teenager was a nightclub singer, sneaking out of the family home to perform.
